Crow Media Player 2

The Crow Media Player serves as a practical audio supplementary tool for the Crow language textbooks published by the Crow Language Consortium. Designed to enhance language learning, it allows users to activate native speaker pronunciation with a simple tap—ideal for learners seeking an interactive experience.

Available audio content includes:

• Bíiluukaalilaah! - Speak Crow! Level 1
• Bíiluukaalilaah! - Speak Crow! Level 2
• Chihpám Bachimmiléek - Prairie Dog Goes to School

This application functions as a companion to both the textbooks and children's books from the series. Users can easily access vocabulary and audio through two modes: AR and Page Mode, which are navigated via intuitive taps and swipes.

Features include:

• Augmented reality (AR) overlays that place audio playback controls directly on each page within every unit.
• A centralized Play button located in the lower left corner to stream all audio in the current unit, with playback resuming from the last point visited.

Usage instructions are straightforward:

1. Begin in the Books section to select a publication.
2. Tap the selected book to enter Page Mode. If prompted, agree to camera permissions for AR functionality.
3. Use the AR Mode Switch to activate the camera view and see interactive overlays.
4. Tap Play for automatic sequential audio playback; navigation between sections is possible via arrows or a section list accessed through the menu button.

In Page Mode:

• Pinch to zoom in or out for better readability.
• Drag pages to navigate through the material.
• Tap individual buttons on pages to play associated audio, or select a button and then tap Play for targeted playback.

In AR Mode:

• Activate AR by toggling the AR Mode Switch.
• View pages through your device’s camera, which overlays interactive elements onto the physical page.
• Tap buttons within the overlay to listen to pronunciations while viewing the page in real time.

Please note that image recognition quality may vary depending on device capabilities, and some devices may not support AR mode. If incompatible, users will receive an alert and can revert to Page Mode for continued use.
